Life
I am currently happily married and living a simple and joyful life in the Seattle area. I have been blessed with two wonderful children - an 18-year-old daughter who graduated HS early and is now taking a break from the University of Washington, and a son who just started first grade. After a career in software development, I am now working full time from home as a technical writer / graphic designer, so I can be home with my very special son, who has Down Syndrome and Autism. Because we have simplified our lives, I have more time for music and writing. I continue to enjoy composing songs, and performing occasionally at coffee houses. I am also part of the worship team at my church, and love to share my music there. I have recently finished writing an adventure novel for Middle Readers, featuring a young boy who has Down Syndrome as a hero. Now I just have to figure out how to get someone to read it and consider publishing it!
I would never have guessed that this would be my life, but I definitely wouldn't change a thing!
